Parranda La Cruz is certainly an unexpected phenomenon in the landscape of globalised music, especially in this Afro-Atlantic space of constantly renewed artistic resources. The combo has created
a common language that it is certainly the only one to master, but one that it is ready to share with as many people as possible... By touching souls and speaking to bodies!
Lead singer and musician Rebecca Roger Cruz, originally from Caracas, launched the epic in 2018 from Lyon with the collaboration of an exceptional voice, Margaux Delatour (Pixvae, Ti'Kaniki...). The percussionists and singers Luc Moindranzé Karioudja and David Doris, from the Ti'Kaniki collective, represent a new maloya scene that can break free of codes.

For this new album, the group calls on three high-profile Venezuelan guests to further enrich the vocal and percussive torrent, with Julio D'Santiago, Betsayda ("the black voice of Venezuela") and Nereida Machado, two emblematic figures of traditional Venezuelan music.
